I'm back into the swing of blogging again. After cancelling my livejournal of the same name as this new creature, I thought blogging had run its course. After all, I hadn't set it up because I felt this calling to - I did it to fit in somewhere I really didn't belong, and give someone a peek into my psyche.
After much drama, a desperately needed "karmic reboot" of sorts, and of course the inescapable soul-searching which follows, I realised that I do enjoy writing about life and my perception of it. What I learned from my previous experience is that a public blog is not the place to air intensely personal information. Sometimes I think it's a perverse sort of exhibitionism and voyeurism, especially when a circle of friends in close proximity chooses to air pieces of themself on-line, and not in person. My folly. I view the online blog as a sort of personal op-ed column, a space to post one's take on life. The personal details are best left to written journal and private communication.
With that, gentlefolk, flex your fingers. The blogging has begun.
